Clarkson & Wallace is a family-owned, full-service real estate, insurance and property management company serving Bath and Highland Counties since 1947. In 1985, the owners of the company bought, renovated and rented out The Library Cottage in the village of Warm Springs, thus starting the property management arm of the business. Long before VRBO and Airbnb became household names, Clarkson & Wallace offered vacation rental management to help owners off-set the cost of owning their second home in Bath County. By providing the highest level of service to owners and unique experiences to guests, we've been able to introduce thousands to this magical place we are lucky to call home - many who return year after year and some who have made this their home away from home as well! By 2005, our vacation rental business had grown to the point of needing its own identity with its own website, on-line booking and 21st century features. We called it Warm Springs Cottages, referencing that historically summer homes here were called "cottages" regardless of the size or grandeur of the home. Warm Springs Cottages was created to encompass all of the unique properties we represent, from cozy cottages to mountain lodges, from a historic carriage house to a renovated grain barn on a 450-acre farm.
