A marvelous mountain lodge completed in 2002 and set on top of a ridge in the middle of 175 acres with long vistas in all directions. The lodge offers a great room with stone fireplace, study with sofa bed and adjoining full bath, master bedroom with en suite bath, guest room and a children's room that share a hall bath. Access the crow's nest from the spiral staircase - the perfect place to enjoy the mountain views and the stars at night.  The screened porch and deck provide outdoor living and dining space as well.

For winter rentals - four wheel drive and/or chains are highly recommended for accessing the home.  The owners do not allow plowing of the drive.

"Winding Ridge is "to die for"!  The Owners have created a true mountain oasis.  Winding Ridge is a far better alternative than staying at the resort.  We are quite glad that there were not any vacancies, and as a result, we were introduced to an opportunity to stay just for a couple of days at the top of the world!
