SWITZERLAND TRAIL RETREAT is just that - a wonderful retreat just 3.5 miles from Lake Moomaw!  This lovely ranch home is fresh and almost brand new after a complete remodel with new furnishings, floors, windows, HVAC and paint throughout.  The cozy home has a deep front porch overlooking a peaceful valley.  The living room has a beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace and a large stack of firewood provided for the fireplace or outdoor fire pit!  The eat-in kitchen is well appointed and includes everything needed for preparing your own meals.    There are three bedrooms.  Two bedrooms have queen size beds with brand new furniture and premium, comfy mattresses.  The third bedroom has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and twin on top!  There is one full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.    The home's HVAC system is state of the art and includes an ultra violet light filter that kills all viruses including COVID.  There is a new UV water filtration system as well.    The cottage is located 2 miles down a well-maintained gravel country road, only traveled by the people who live there.  Enjoy complete peace and quiet at this cozy cottage - a tranquil, pastoral setting by day and amazing dark skies by night.   If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place!  If you are looking for the ultimate year-round outdoor adventure location - this is also the place - just 5 miles from The Omni Homestead Resort known for its world-class golf courses, 3.5 miles from Lake Moomaw for fantastic boating, fishing and hiking, and less than 1 hour to Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia for skiing, snowboarding, tubing and more!    Rates are $180/night with a 2-night minimum;  3 nights for major holidays.  Cleaning fee is $100.
