We are excited to be able to offer this fabulous home as Warm Springs Cottages’ newest vacation rental. The home was originally built in 1915 as the summer getaway for the Christian Family from Richmond. The house was built on a rise overlooking Dunn’s Gap in order to take full advantage of the beautiful view, as Mrs. Christian loved to entertain. The 3900 square foot home has been beautifully restored and is once again a luxurious retreat. Accommodating up to 10 comfortably, the home features a Master Suite with a queen bed and spa-like bath with large jetted tub and separate shower. There is a very private guest suite on the other end of the home with two guest rooms sharing a full bath, one with a queen bed and one with two twins. The fourth bedroom is upstairs and features two queen beds and a full hall bath.
Fabulous views can be seen from almost every room. The large living room with a fireplace overlooks the large patio, perfect for outdoor entertaining. The large kitchen exudes warmth with the dark paneling, a cozy seating area in front of a second fireplace and a flat screen TV as well as a casual dining area overlooking the view. Adjacent to the kitchen is the formal dining room. And just off the living room is a den with a large screen TV and half bath.
Available for weekly rentals only, Christian Cottage is conveniently located halfway between Hot Springs and Warm Springs and is sure to become a favorite escape for families year-round.
